Creating and Managing Categories of Individuals

1. Access your TrustWorks dashboard:

To begin managing categories for DSRs in TrustWorks, navigate to Settings > Global Settings > Data Practices:


2. Select "Category of Individuals" to start managing and adding categories specifically for your DSRs.


3. Create a new category:

To create a new category of individuals for DSRs, click on the + New Category of Individuals button. This allows you to define a unique category tailored to your organisation's specific needs.


4. Name your category:

Enter an appropriate name for your new category. For example, you could create a category for "Vendors/Suppliers."


5. Add a description (optional):

Include a brief description to help team members or collaborators understand the purpose of the category when managing DSRs.


6. Save your new category:

After naming the category and adding a description, click on the + Create button to save it. This will add the new category to our system, facilitating efficient organisation and management of DSRs.


7. Edit categories:

To make changes to a category, locate it in the list and click on "+" icon on the left. Update the necessary fields, such as the name or description, to reflect the desired modifications.


8. Save the changes:

After making the necessary changes, click on the "+ Update" button to save your edits.


9. Deleting categories:

If a category is no longer needed, locate it in the list and click on Delete.


Confirm the deletion when prompted to remove the category.
