Google Workspace Integration (Data Mapping)

Prerequisites
Before you begin the integration process, ensure that you have the following:
- A Google Workspace account with administrative privileges.
- A TrustWorks account with administrative privileges.
Understanding Google Workspace Roles and Permissions
When integrating Google Workspace with TrustWorks, itโs essential to have the appropriate roles and permissions in your Google Workspace account. The permissions required are based on the user's level of permission:
- Super Admin permission: Retrieve tokens of all users.
- Any admin permission: Retrieve tokens of all users except Super Admins.
- Normal or custom permission: Retrieve tokens of all users except Super Admins and Admins.
Configuring Google Workspace Integration
Configuring the Google Integration in TrustWorks is a straightforward process:
- Go to Global Settings and select Integrations.
- Initiate a New Integration and opt for Google Workspace.
- Choose Authentication Method (OAuth 2.0) and click on Connect with Google Workspace.
- Grant TrustWorks permission to connect to Google Workspace.
๐ Permissions required by TrustWorks in order to support Data Mapping:
- /auth/admin.directory.user.security: Used to list tokens from Google.
- /auth/admin.directory.user.readonly: Used to list all users in the organization in order to list their tokens.
- Save your Integration Settings.
6. Verify the Visibility of Google Workspace Applications/Tokens in the Data Mapping > Staging Area.
