Torii Integration (Data Mapping)

Integrating Torii with TrustWorks allows you to automatically discover and map your organisation's tools and applications in your data map. This integration simplifies the data mapping process and helps you maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive data map.

Prerequisites

Before you begin the integration process, you need to generate an API key in Torii. This key will allow TrustWorks to securely access and interact with your Torii account.

Generating Torii API key

To integrate Torii with TrustWorks you'll need to generate an API key first. Log in to your Torii account and follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Settings page >> API Access
  2. Click on Generate API Key

  1. Select the permission type (read only is enough for TrustWorks integration).
  2. Set an Expiration date : For security purposes, we recommend setting an expiration date when generating a new API key.
    • The key will become invalid on the chosen expiration date.
    • Torii will send an email reminder a month prior to the expiration date reminding you to generate a new API Key.
  3. Add a description.
  4. Copy the key at this point, after this step, the full key will become unavailable.
  5. Click on Got it

Configuring Torii Integration in TrustWorks

  1. Log in to your TrustWorks account and navigate to Global Settings > Integrations and click on + New Integration .
  2. Choose the Torii integration option.

  1. In the configuration panel, provide the following information:
    • API Key: Enter the API key generated in Torii.
  2. Click on the Test Integration 🔗 button to verify the connection between TrustWorks and Torii.
  3. If the test is successful and the connection is established, proceed to Save the integration.
  4. Verify the Visibility of Torii Applications/Tokens in the Data Mapping > Staging
